Hello, my name is Ryan McCann. This past year was my senior year at Sharon High School. This coming fall, I will be attending Emory University in Atlanta, and my major will be Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology. I want to eventually work with researchers studying Alzheimer's Disease, to help people that suffer from the affliction.
During high school, I was a member of the Science Olympiad team for 3 years, and was the President of the team for 2. Jim was the team advisor, and I spent much of my time at school in his classroom. You are all lucky to be able to work with him this summer. I also spent much of my time either training for or playing baseball. I love to follow the MLB, and am interested in almost all things baseball.
I hope that this summer is an enjoyable experience, and I am excited to have the opportunity to work with everyone!
